From behind the counter to the forefront of an expanding corporation, George Drivas is bringing a new standard to the airports and has a vision to revolutionise airport dining.
As Managing Director, he has been involved in the hospitality industry for over 23 years. Having run venues of varying sizes, he is fluent in both bespoke and franchise hospitality environments.
Combining his passion for process with a drive for providing quality, George runs a successful business dedicated to providing optimal dining experiences in airport environments.
An adamant focus on quality and detail, each store is run with the utmost care to ensure all output upholds a certain level of excellence.
Judith Geiger
General Manager
With a comprehensive management history, she oversees all facets of ARGA’s day to day processes and long term strategies. Having worked in the aviation food and beverage industry for over 13 years she has been exposed to absolutely every area of the business.
A rich history in both hotel and restaurant environments, she has the perfect experience mix to ensure the tight management of ARGA’s operations. Judith’s qualifications include a MBA (Leadership) Bachelor of Hospitality Management (Human Resource Management major) and a Diploma of Management.
Prior to ARGA she held management positions with Accor, Plaza Hotels, The Coffee Club independent franchises and boutique wine bars.
Her experience teamed with her qualifications has enabled Judith to help develop ARGA’s strong stance in the airport retail industry.
Allen Chen
Group Chef
Allen is a highly experienced group chef with over a decade of experience in the hospitality industry. He has held various positions in numerous kitchens, including Head Cook at The Coffee Club Brisbane International Airport, Head Chef at Secret Recipe Australia, and Line Chef at Secret Recipe Australia.
He has also worked as a chef at Freestyle Tout and as a Sous Chef at Bistro 1 Mariners Cove. Prior to these positions, he worked as a cook at several reputable establishments such as Novotel, Sofitel, Caxton St Catering, Spoon Deli, Hotel Grand Chancellor, Conrad Treasury and Hilton. In addition, he has also worked as a waiter at The Sebel Brisbane and Caxton St Catering.
Allen brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to every kitchen he works in and provides high-quality food and service to customers.
Roma Rama
People and Culture Manager
Roma brings over a decade of experience in people and culture to ARGA.
She has worked across various industries, including manufacturing, retail, corporate and hospitality, showcasing her versatility and diverse expertise. Roma's passion for hospitality comes from her genuine love of helping others thrive, and she is dedicated to supporting and uplifting the people who provide exceptional service to our customers.
Roma has developed her skills with leading hospitality companies like Accor, where she played a pivotal role in shaping organisational culture and enhancing employee engagement.
Chris Beeton
Operations Manager
Chris is one of ARGA’s Terminal Managers. He has over 17 years’ experience in the hospitality industry and brings a wealth of knowledge and passion for people.
Chris’ focus is on his team which is why he concentrates on training and development, recruitment and team building. However, he also specialises in labour and food cost control and relationship management with key stakeholders such as customers and contractors.
Chris’ qualifications are people focused with diplomas in Management and Counselling which provides a strong backbone to his role.
Chris has also previously served in the management teams of Campos Coffee, Starbucks and McDonald’s.
